Atlantis was Isis' last foal. They almost both passed during the foaling.
Isis had a condition known as Fescue Toxicity. In spite of two vet calls in the last month of pregnancy, it went undiagnosed.
She delivered him 10 days early with dystocia. He was presenting croup first. If it wasn't for our veterinarian Dr. Relyea,
and her dedicated self, they both would have been lost.

These are just a few photos of Isis and Atlantis. It seems like so
long ago, but I do remember her so vividly, like it was yesterday. There were many times I would do a "memory imprint" with
her. I would pick a swirl, whorl or mark on her and just memorize it. I can still remember details today. I sometimes still
close my eyes and remember her, bringing her back to life even if only for a few glorious moments.......
